A 6-Week Online Course for Coaches

Master the In-Between

With 6 essential skills to deepen your coaching sessions.

You already know how to coach. This is about mastering the unpredictable space between goal setting and action planning.

6 Weeks · Live Online · Starts January 5, 2027 · Early bird until December 15, 2026

THE CHALLENGE

Know How to Take Your Clients Deeper Through Resistance. Every Time.

Some clients change the subject the moment you get close to the core of their issue. Others are highly reflective, but still get trapped in patterns they want to get rid of. You're trying all the tools from the coaching book, but the real shift is not happening. You'll agree on action steps, your client will assure you that it was a useful session but inside you feel it could have been different.

What's hard about coaching at depth is getting there because clients often don't want to go to the difficult places. That's their
protective mechanism. It's our job to create the opening that inspires curiosity rather than defence.
Sometimes it can feel like we need to improvise a different strategy in every session. But depth work shouldn't be improvisation. And it shouldn't slip into therapy either.

If you've ever finished a session doubting that you actually helped your client make progress, I understand that feeling completely. For years I followed the classic 3-step framework: identify the problem, help the client find their solution, agree on action steps. But I struggled, because it ignored one thing: people resist facing what it takes to change.

So how to work through resistance and change the consciousness the problem was created in? Read on.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

Tünde Horváth Has Spent 25 Years Helping Clients Turn Their Resistance Into Resources.

I'm Tünde Horvath, Master Certified Coach with more than 7,000 coaching hours. My approach combines three bodies of wisdom — Gestalt psychology, Taoist philosophy, and mythological storytelling — to guide leaders and coaches through the in-between phases in their work. I created The Elemental Cycle, which combines the Gestalt Cycle of Experience with the Five Elements of the Tao. I use it to stay oriented when resistance gets complex, and it’s what I’ll teach you in this course.

I've spent 20 years training coaches from beginner to master level. I've been teaching these elemental skills and also helped coaches overcome their own unconscious resistance in the space between goal setting and action planning.

Live Sessions: Tuesdays, 18:30–20:00 CET
01

Week 1 (Tuesday, January 5)

Interrupting the client's stuck patterns

Every client has a stuck pattern (a fixed gestalt) that they want to get rid of as much as they hold on to it. This week you learn to see it, name it and interrupt it.

  • Get the map: the Elemental Cycle as a whole, and where clients tend to get stuck on it
  • Spot the stuck pattern as it happens, in the here and now of the session
  • Practise elegant interruptions that balance heart and sword
02

Week 2 (Tuesday, January 12)

Separating what belongs to client & coach

Three streams of data run through every session and blur into each other. Noticing, naming and separating them is where your clarity comes from.

  • Observe the client’s data: words, body, energy, voice, breathing
  • Track what’s happening inside you: it may be sudden boredom, an urge to rescue, a tightness in your chest
  • Sense the dynamic in the field between you, the underlying layer that coach and client co-create
03

Week 3 (Tuesday, January 19)

Interventions to go deeper

Designing a powerful intervention requires data, strategy, intuition.  This week you learn to find it.

  • Catch the pattern: as it shows up, again and again, in the here and now
  • Choose one to work with when several compete for your attention
  • Design an intervention aimed at a deeper level, not just the symptom on top
04

Week 4 (Tuesday, January 26)

Crossing the boundary

This is the moment most clients deflect or hesitate. So do many coaches.

  • Deliver the intervention with presence and timing, so it feels like an invitation rather than an ambush
  • Work with the client’s resistance as a source of energy, not an obstacle
  • Catch your own resistance and know how to tap into the resource it hides
05

Week 5 (Tuesday, February 2)

Landing it all gracefully

A powerful insight is the beginning of real change. This week is about making it last.

  • Help the client put words to what shifted: how the resistance transformed and what became possible
  • Design new habits hat carry the insight into the weeks and months that follow
  • Close the session by harvesting the learning and honouring what may be lost
06

Week 6 (Tuesday, February 9)

Holding the Space In-Between

Silence is one thing. Stillness is something else entirely.

  • Explore what makes stillness the highest form of presence available to a coach
  • Stay in not-knowing without filling it with a question or feedback
  • Map how you’ll carry the six skills forward starting with your very next coaching session

THE VALUE OF THE WORK

Move Beyond the Surface. Coach With Greater Depth.

Build the awareness, confidence and practical skills to work with what is really happening in the space between you and your client.

  • See Patterns More Clearly
Recognise when a client is stuck and understand what may be keeping the pattern in place.
  • Intervene With Intention
Choose and deliver interventions that reach beyond surface-level symptoms.
  • Work With Resistance
Approach resistance with curiosity and presence rather than treating it as something to overcome.
  • Know What Belongs to Whom
Distinguish your own reactions from your client's experience and the dynamic you create together.
  • Support Lasting Change
Help clients make sense of their insights and carry meaningful shifts into action.
